Vacation time means fun, but having that fun, means selecting the best vacation option. That best vacation option can be found through Carnival Cruise line; setting sail onboard the Carnival Elation. Elation is exactly what you’ll feel as you engage in the many thrilling activities that are available for your entertainment. With everything one needs for a fun vacation right on the ship, finding amusement will literally be a breeze.
This ship is one of the finer ones afloat, you can tell as soon as you enter the gorgeous, six-story atrium filled with tunes from the elegant piano. If gambling is your thing, the casino, Casablanca Casino, with its Moroccan design will afford you luxurious gaming fun. Whether it is fine dining you require, or casual fare, you can find it onboard the Carnival Elation. Tiffany’s Bar and Grill gives visitors a casual atmosphere in which to dine, if the two main dining areas are not your style. Eating is an experience onboard this ship!
With three swimming pools, mini-golf, jogging track, and beauty parlor, every whim can be fulfilled. Other fine amenities include a children’s playroom, babysitting services, a kiddie pool, and youth programs; these make the ship quite kid-friendly.

poor, generally bland food. not enough live entertainment in the mostly empty clubs. shows all start too late for most people. Staff and crew were very friendly and efficient.
Food was not good,, not tasty,, entertainment was scheduled very late in evening. Wait for 6 pm dinner always long and late opening. Cruise director very hard to understand, unable to speak english clearly. Smokers everywhere. NO place to go to get fresh air without smokers
I wish there were more classes available during sea days -eg. Photoshop classes, history lectures, more crafts. >From the 55+ group, sea days can be boring if you don’t sun and drinki
I was on the Elation last December, just before Christmas. The ship embarked from San Diego. I had a great time. We thourghly enjoyed the cruise. The food was great. We had an exceptional waiter. We liked the lively shows which were scheduled at 8 PM, and 11 PM. The casino had a good lively croud. The bars were not full. I believe this was because, it was the week before the holidays. The ship has moved to a port in Mobile Alabama. I am sorry to see it leave. I would love to to on another trip on the Elation. We were very satisfied with the cruise.
January cruise out of Mobile, AL. Ship was nice. Food was disappointing at all lunches and at half the dinners. Dance group not appropriate for family entertainment.
