Music was way too loud all of the time and there was nowhere to escape from it. Same was true of cigarette smoke. You could smell it all over the ship (as well as cigar smoke) and the rules and regs about smoking were not enforced. Folks were even smoking while in the hot tub with wine in glassware. To allow smoking on one side of the ship is like permitting "peeing" in one side of the pool. Food was just ok, nothing to write home about. One night we had a bad bottle of wine (musty) and also a mushy lobster. Service was about the best thing on the ship. We had sailed on the Carnival Freedom last February and found that ship to be wonderful which was the reason we went back to Carnival. Probably would not sail on this ship again. I was sad because I figured our honeymoon was ruined. That night, the decks were closed due to the high winds, but there was so much onboard fun that no one seemed to notice. The Captain diverted us wonderfully, and we woke up to sunshine and PARADISE! <strong>Ship:</strong> Breathtaking! VERY clean...and so beautiful. Like being in a museum for a week. Motion sickness: (I usually get sick travelling). You will NOT know you're on a ship. We sailed around Hurricane Ida, and while it rocked a little due to the hurricane, I did not feel ill once. Otherwise, it doesn't feel like you're even moving. <strong>Service:</strong> TOP notch! The hallway floor outside our stateroom was damp one night and the next morning, we had a message from customer service saying they had credited our account over $40 for the "inconvenience." We hardly noticed the water outside our room...and they gave us a random refund. <strong>Food:</strong> Amazing, unlimited, LOTS of variety! Whatever you can think of, you can pretty much get. You feel like you're fine dining every night for dinner! My husband and I gained over 5 pounds each. <strong>Entertainment:</strong> Excellent. Big jackpot Bingos, dancers, broadway style shows, something for everyone and something always going on! NEVER bored! <strong>Rooms:</strong> Immaculately clean. You leave your room for 15 minutes, come back, and it was 'magically' cleaned! Lots of storage space. GET A BALCONY! SO worth the money! You can relax under the stars, or before dinner, or have your breakfast delivered to you in the morning to eat on your balcony. So relaxing! <strong>Shore Excursions:</strong> Book with Carnival. Some people say to book on-shore with locals for cheaper, but we thought that it seemed a little sketchy.
